SIEM and Log Management

SIEM Deployment and Compliant Log Management

Your servers, firewalls and users produce thousands of records every day. With SIEM we collect them in one place, make sense of them and detect suspicious activity instantly.

What is SIEM?

SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) collects, correlates and analyses log records from many sources centrally. Events that look harmless on their own reveal the traces of an attack when they are combined.

For example, a burst of failed logins at midnight followed by a successful one and unusual data transfer triggers an alert automatically through SIEM rules.

Compliant log retention (Turkish Law No. 5651)

Turkish Law No. 5651 and related regulations require organisations that provide internet access to keep internal IP assignment and access records for the period set by the legislation, with integrity protected by time stamps. Our deployments collect, sign and archive logs to meet these requirements.

  • Collection of DHCP and internal IP assignment logs
  • Archiving of firewall and proxy access records
  • Log integrity protected with time stamps
  • Fast search and reporting on request

Our service scope

  • Identifying log sources and designing the SIEM architecture
  • Integrating server, network device, firewall and cloud logs
  • Custom correlation rules and alert scenarios
  • Automatic blocking of suspicious access with rules
  • Ready-made reports for ISO 27001 and data protection
  • 24/7 monitoring and incident response

SIEM and SOAR together

SIEM detects the threat; SOAR responds to it automatically. Deployed together, they cut alert noise and bring response times down to minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between SIEM and a log server?

A log server only stores records. SIEM correlates records across sources, recognises attack patterns and raises alerts.

Which logs do we need to keep under Law No. 5651?

In general, internal IP assignment records and access records, with integrity protected by time stamps. We clarify your obligations together and configure the deployment accordingly.

Won't SIEM produce too many alerts?

Out-of-the-box rules left untouched do. We tune rules to your normal behaviour, remove noise and surface only the events that need action.
